However, for your money you do get an extremely detailed model. Buyers can choose from seven exterior and two interior colours, five different brake caliper colours, two different kinds of rims, and select a sunroof which is made of glass. You can also have a personalised numberplate written in one of four fonts. The price includes shipping within 30 days of your order, and the model can be returned free of charge if you aren't happy with it. Alternatively, you can just configure the car and admire it online.

The new Quattroporte Sport GT S has arrived in New Zealand, providing Maserati’s luxury performance saloon with a new sporting flagship that offers increased performance, an updated chassis and gearbox and the sound of a racetrack bred engine, matched by subtle changes to the body. Maserati has a unique record on and off the race track for setting benchmarks for design, styling and performance that the rest of the industry has then followed,” says Edward Butler, General Manager of Maserati in Australia and New Zealand.

You’re taking your life into your own hands fiddling with Maserati’s GranTurismo S. Fortunately German tuner, Novitec, knows what it's doing. The Stetten-based German tuner, who manages to eek out additional dynamics from Italy’s most exotic performance cars, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and producing an extensive portfolio of new products, accordingly.

This is our first look at the Mercedes SLS, the front-engined supercar that’s set to replace the McMerc SLR later this year and, well, we’re speechless. We are quite literally without speech. OK, it’s only a sketch of the exterior – though you can see proper photos of the production interior if you click on our gallery – and it’s possible to make even a Daihatsu Terios look mildly sexy in sketch form, but we don’t care. It’s going to be awesome, isn’t it?

BaseCar on their previous model and with a little help of Pininfarina giving this car a bit of a facelift the new Maserati Quattroporte S have become a stylish modern looking car and yet still has the luxury and elegance of what it use to have, Maserati Quattroporte S now has a much desirable design that could definitely stop the hands of time.

Are you itching to buy the recently-announced Maserati GranTurismo MC but put off that you can’t drive it on the public road? Don’t worry. There is a way. The MC12 hugs the tarmac like a wicked ocean predator, a flat hulking mass which eats giant squids for breakfast and orcas for snacks. It reaches all the way up to my knees and I’d love to say that I immediately see something is amiss but I do not. A twelve hour drive across the Alps and a mad dash down a twisting road has left me exhausted and this is the first MC12 I have ever seen.

Maserati Gran Turismo Review It's rather refreshing to drive something whose name exactly describes what the car is about. That's the case with this new Maserati because Gran Turismo is Italian for "Grand Touring" and this machine is a classic GT in every sense of the term.

Think "Maserati" and "Burberry" and there are so many ways this could have gone classy. But this isn't one of them. Seems some fool with too much oil money and not enough taste has plastered his Quattroporte in what appears to be perforated Burberry-plaid gift-wrap paper. If this were some sort of new camouflage on a test mule for the newly revised Quattroporte, we'd say it was effective (who could focus on the details in between the bouts of vomiting?), but somehow we don't picture the Italians doing anything this horrendously tasteless.

The world was stunned when Maserati unveiled the GranTurismo at the 2007 Geneva show, but as beautiful as it is, critics said it wasn't tough enough to take down the competition. The folks from Modena were evidently listening, and one year later laid the beefed-up GranTurismo S on us, complete with 440-hp engine straight out of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione.
