The traditional SUV has strong road presence, loads of space and a diesel engine. However, there is a niche market for smaller petrol-engine SUV’s whose easy-to-drive nature and car-like feel is what attracts buyers.

Japanese auto maker car company has decided to make the entry in the market with the new entry level automatic passenger car as the next generation car, named as 'March' to be launched till by 2010.'March' would be 'A-segment' car in Indian market. This car model - Nissan March would be manufactured from the company's plant which is presently situated at Oragadam. According to the company officials there would be nearly nine models of Nissan in the market till by 2012.

Motor Trend has gone back to the basics by picking the newly redesigned Subaru Forester as its 2008 SUV of the Year. Right off the bat, editor Arthur St. Antoine claims that the choice wasn't a reaction to high fuel prices, with the Forester posting the highest fuel efficiency in a group of contenders that includes the BMW X6, Ford Flex, Kia Borrego, Infiniti EX and FX, Nissan Murano, Toyota Sequoia, Volkswagen Tiguan, Honda Pilot, Chevy Traverse, Dodge Journey and Lexus LX570.

Restoring a vintage car is a labor of love. While admittedly there are some that do this as a business, all of them, those that restore and collect vintage cars, are driven by their passion, they are fueled by their desire for vintage cars and watching them return to their full glory is what makes them happy.

The seating positions and leg views are adequate to say the least. The mileage figures are the ones that really catch the eye and could be the USP for this brawler. You can expect close to 14kpl in the city and an astonishing 18kpl on the highway.
