Aston Martin’s version of the Toyota iQ is still a few years off, but Scion’s take on the tiny city car could show up in the United States by next year. Following its New York Auto Show debut earlier this year, the Scion-badged iQ could surface in U.S. dealerships by late 2010. According to Motor Trend, the Scion iQ will arrive in late 2010 as a 2011 model or early 2011 as a 2012 model. The U.S.-spec model will retain its funky 3+1 seating arrangement, although the vehicle will grow by 1.5 inches overall.

Scion has a tradition of releasing special editions of its vehicles, and the xD Release Series 2.0 is the latest in that series. It will be the last special edition for 2009. Along with all the xD’s standard features, like air conditioning and power windows, locks and mirrors, the xD RS 2.0 also features a large 5.8-inch touch-screen navigation system. The Pioneer navigation system has built-in voice recognition and Bluetooth capabilities. The system also includes satellite radio and a rearview camera, and it’s HD radio-ready.

A hypothetical: Let's say you worked as the director of marketing for a company that dealt with body kits. Not just any peddler of fine fiberglass goods, but a firm that specialized in both the design and manufacturing of their own kits. Now, let's say you came across a sweet deal for one of the hottest compact vehicles on the market. Put two and two (or in this case one and the other) together and you're bound to brew up one mean sum bitch of a show car.

I had a yellow Chevrolet Corvette Z06 last summer. When I took it by my parents house, my dad warned me not to break the speed limit because sports cars were a big red flag for law enforcement. His logic made complete sense, but it turns out that sports cars aren't necessarily the the most likely vehicles to get tickets.

It’s getting on towards the end of another year, which means that those of us here at LotPro.com can report with a relative degree of accuracy those models with the largest number of searches for the year.

Stockholm Transport (SL) is taking delivery of 10 Scania buses featuring the company's third generation of ethanol engines - technology which can cut carbon dioxide emissions by up to 90 per cent compared to conventional diesel motors.Public transport buses in central Stockholm have only run on ethanol or biogas for a number of years -- including some 400 Scania ethanol buses -- and from 2010 onward, SL has decided to buy only buses that operate on renewable fuels.
